Part 5 Food
Name the group.
- The Apache raided other tribes for food.
- The Inuit ate otters, walruses, seals, and caribou.
- The Northwest Coastal Tribes ate salmon, whales, bear, caribou, deer, elk, and moose as well as roots and berries gathered from the forests.
- The Pueblo were desert farmers. They grew a lot of corn.
- The Plains Indians ate buffalo.
- The Iroquois ate beans, squash, and corn which they named The Three Sisters. They also hunted deer, bears, caribou, elk, moose, wild duck, geese, partridge, beavers, and other game.
- The Great Lake Tribes were hunters and farmers. Much of their diet was wild rice.
