Spying on the "Enemy"

In Chapter 6, Chris decides to spy on the Yankees. This is a good time to begin writing a newspaper covering events happening in 1863-1864. Work with a group of friends. Assign roles—reporters, editorial writers, illustrators—to produce articles, opinion pieces, and sketches. Include “letters to the editor” from characters in the story for an imaginative twist.
