Student Leaf

Trees are super easy to make and can be used for many purposes. Use the Ellison die cut-out leaves to make a quick and easy board. Even though these photos show examples of acts of kindness and appreciation, students can write all kinds of messages on the leaves.

Examples of academic messages:

  • vocabulary words with definitions
  • synoyms and antonyms
  • homonyms with pictures of each
  • root word trees with leaves containing words that have the root
  • famous people to accomplishments
  • Trees can also house events to remember.
    Examples:

  • calendar pages with special dates to remember
  • birthdays
  • Decorative ideas might include:

  • book covers
  • names of students in the class
  • While trees are truly beautiful in the fall with all their colorful leaves, think about spring trees as well. Use various shades of green to make the trees really pop.
